Director of Campus Ministry
Meet Sr. Lisa Zelfa! She is the Director of Campus Ministry for SJB Campus Ministry. She is a member of the Servants of God's Love religious community. Sister had a powerful encounter with Christ during college which sparked a passion in her to minister to college students. A fun fact about Sister is that she is Chaldean and was born and raised in Iraq. She is looking forward to meeting new students in the fall and connecting again with previous students. Leading campus ministry is a dream come true and seeing the Holy Spirit work is a privilege!
EMILY HALL
Campus Ministry Coordinator
Meet Emily Hall! She is the Campus Ministry Coordinator for SJB Campus Ministry. She is a graduate of Northwood University and getting her Master's in Theology from the Augustine Institute. After a powerful encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, it has placed a deep passion in her to see souls saved and to bring revival on college campuses. Emily desires to bring college campuses an encounter with God by cultivating an atmosphere of supernatural faith, prayer, and worship. A fun fact about Emily is that she enjoys biking, running, and swimming.
Matthew Yurko
Campus Mininstry Missionary
Meet Matthew Yurko! He is the Campus Ministry Missionary for SJB Campus Ministry. He is a graduate of Father Gabriel Richard High School and Washtenaw Community College. After hearing a powerful talk at a retreat, Matthew has had a deep conviction to lead the men of campus ministry and form men into strong men living for Christ. He aims to cultivate brotherhood among the men to call each other closer to God. A fun fact about Matthew is that he has produced several short films during his time at college.

Everyone has the opportunity to join a join small community group. These are designed to help students connect, grow, and receive care. Small groups are where friendships are built and faith is sown and grown. Join a Small Group!
