SEASONAL DECORATION: 

• April 1st through October 31st: Summer decorations only. Annual Flowers planted in front of memorial and ground vases are permitted. Flowers in ground vases or containers with handles are also permitted. ITEMS NOT PERMITTED would include lawn decorations, edging of any kind (plastic or natural), above ground vases, shepherd hooks, benches, tree chimes, figurines, trinkets, balloons, fencing, and the planting of trees, shrubs, or evergreens.
• December 1st through March 31st: Artificial flowers and Grave Blankets are permitted. Please note that for Grave Blankets, a "Placement and Removal Tag" is required. This tag can be purchased at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church office (411 Florence Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197) during the weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (closed from noon to 1:00p.m.) The cost for this tag is a non-refundable $15.00 fee. Once purchased, this tag should be placed in a visible spot on the grave blanket. Please note, a grave blanket onsite without a tag will be removed.
